Researchers in many disciplines, such as psychology, sociology, and health-related fields, are adding brain-imaging components to their work. Our colleagues in Psychological Sciences invite you to see their state-of-the-art brain-imaging facility during the . They will share how the scanner is used to study Alzheimer's and Parkinson's Disease and talk about their research on memory, dyslexia, pharmacological effects, stress, visual perception, and autism.
Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions and consider ways the technology could be used to enhance their research. Following the discussion there will be a tour of the facility. Even if your interests fall outside these topics, you will still be fascinated to learn about this valuable resource.
